2021 Sewing Retreats Resume Sponsored byStitching Girls Society
After more than a year of Covid-19 isolation, camps are opening back up, vaccinations are getting into arms, and Stitching Girls Society is resuming our Sewing Retreats! See more information below! For the present, all Retreats will practice social distancing, single room occupancy and mask wearing. Stitching Girls Sociey has also adopted a policy that Covid Vacinations are required to attend.
Our Sewing Retreats were once known as Vashon Island Sewing Retreats, which reflected our origins at Camp Burton on Vashon Island. In 2009, the Stitching Girls Society was formed to continue the already long tradition of educational and fun Sewing Retreats under nonprofit directorship. By 2018, we were no longer convening on Vashon Island, so we have changed the name to the Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats!
All our Retreats include sewing, sharing of ideas, projects, inspiration, fun and friendship. Good times from sun up to sun down with no interruptions, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and all the time in the world to sew!
Our Stitching Girls Sewing Retreats continue to be attended by the same enthusiastic and creative group of sewists as always and we are welcoming new Retreaters and new Members at every Retreat. See more information about each Retreat below and on the other pages of this site.
